Sigma Xi Sigma Sorority, Inc. is a non-collegiate Greek sorority created for women seeking genuine sisterhood, meaningful community service, personal growth, and lasting connection. Our sisterhood is rooted in purpose and built through shared experiences, service, and intentional relationships.

2. Who is eligible to become a member?
Women 27 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent and a genuine interest in sisterhood and community service are welcome to explore membership with Sigma Xi Sigma.

3. Where are Sigma Xi Sigma members located?
Sigma Xi Sigma is not limited to one city or state. Our sisterhood is designed to connect women across different locations, and members may reside throughout the United States. While our roots are in Atlanta, Georgia, distance does not prevent you from becoming part of our sisterhood. Members connect virtually and travel for select sisterhood, service, and bonding opportunities.

4. How do I express interest in becoming a member?
Your journey begins by completing our Membership Interest Form. From there, you’ll be invited to learn more about Sigma, connect with our interest community, and participate in opportunities to experience our sisterhood before applying for membership.

5. What happens after I submit an interest form?
Submitting an interest form is the beginning of the journey, not an automatic invitation to membership. You’ll have opportunities to learn about Sigma, engage with our community, attend social activities, and participate in service as we get to know one another.

6. What is the Seedlings community?
Seedlings is our community for women interested in learning more about Sigma Xi Sigma. It provides a space to connect, engage in conversations, attend activities, and discover whether Sigma is the right soil for you to take root.

7. Are there financial obligations associated with membership?
Yes. Sigma Xi Sigma has financial obligations associated with the membership process as well as ongoing membership. Detailed financial information is shared with qualified interests as they progress through the membership journey.

8. What types of community service does Sigma Xi Sigma participate in?
Community service is an important part of Sigma Xi Sigma. Through service initiatives and community partnerships, we create opportunities for our members to serve together and make a meaningful impact in the communities where we live.
